A winery for the future, with concrete terraces, has been designed, taking advantage of the site\u2019s uneven topography, 20 years after the first intervention by the architect Arnaldo Barbosa, who is also responsible for this new project.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In contrast to the ancient karasses, which are found roaming the villages, large, rough modern, temperature controlled concrete vats, are also used in the winery.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

These, similar to the karasses, allow the wine to breathe enhancing the wine\u2019s complexity, elegance and depth while large untoasted casks help improve tannins without overpowering the wine flavour.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
